- שְׁתֵק, שְׁתֵיקch., with prefixed א: אִשְׁתֵּיק, אִישְׁ׳ same, 1) to be silent. Targ. Lev. 10:3. Targ. Job 13:5 מִשְׁתַּק תִּשְׁתְּקוּן (ed. Lag. מִשְׁתּוֹק Ms. מַשְׁתּוֹקי Af.).
